You will also serve as the point of contact for any privacy-related inquiries or concerns, providing guidance and support to both internal and external stakeholders. In this role, you will need to stay up-to-date with the latest developments in privacy laws and regulations, ensuring that the organization remains compliant with any changes. You will work closely with legal and IT teams to address any privacy breaches or incidents, conducting thorough investigations and implementing corrective actions as needed. The Privacy Specialist will also be responsible for maintaining records of data processing activities and ensuring that data subjects' rights are respected and upheld. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate privacy considerations into new projects and initiatives, ensuring that privacy is embedded into the organization's culture and operations. This position requires strong analytical and problem-solving skills, as well as excellent communication and interpersonal abilities. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of privacy laws and regulations, such as GDPR, CCPA, and HIPAA, and experience in implementing privacy programs in a corporate environment. A certification in privacy, such as CIPP or CIPM, is highly desirable.
