We are looking for a skilled and detail-oriented Plasterer to join our construction team. The ideal candidate will have experience in applying plaster to interior and exterior surfaces, including walls, ceilings, and decorative elements. As a Plasterer, you will be responsible for preparing surfaces, mixing plaster materials, and applying coats of plaster using various tools and techniques to achieve a smooth and durable finish.
The role requires a strong understanding of different plastering methods, including solid plastering, fibrous plastering, and rendering. You should be able to read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings, follow safety protocols, and work efficiently both independently and as part of a team. Key tasks include preparing surfaces by cleaning, sanding, and applying bonding agents; mixing plaster to the correct consistency; applying coats of plaster using trowels, brushes, and other tools; smoothing and finishing surfaces to the desired texture; and repairing existing plasterwork. You may also be required to install prefabricated plasterboard and decorative moldings.
