We are looking for a skilled and detail-oriented Imaging Technician to join our healthcare team. As an Imaging Technician, you will be responsible for operating a variety of imaging equipment such as X-ray, MRI, CT, and ultrasound machines to assist physicians in diagnosing and treating medical conditions. Your duties will include preparing patients for procedures, explaining the imaging process, ensuring patient comfort and safety, and maintaining and calibrating imaging equipment. You will also be responsible for reviewing images for quality and clarity, and reporting any abnormalities or issues to the supervising radiologist.
This role requires a high level of technical expertise, attention to detail, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment. You may be required to work evenings, weekends, or be on-call depending on the needs of the facility.
To be successful in this position, you should have completed an accredited radiologic technology program and hold relevant certifications such as ARRT (American Registry of Radiologic Technologists) or equivalent. Previous experience in a clinical setting is preferred but not always required.
