We are looking for a skilled and detail-oriented Form Carpenter to join our construction team. The ideal candidate will have experience in building and assembling forms used to mold concrete for various structures such as foundations, walls, columns, and slabs. This role requires a strong understanding of construction blueprints, materials, and tools, as well as the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
As a Form Carpenter, you will be responsible for measuring, cutting, and assembling formwork using wood, metal, or plastic materials. You will work closely with other construction professionals, including concrete finishers, laborers, and site supervisors, to ensure that all formwork is constructed accurately and safely. Attention to detail, physical stamina, and a commitment to safety are essential for success in this role.
Key duties include interpreting blueprints and technical drawings, setting up and aligning formwork, installing bracing and supports, and ensuring that forms are level and properly secured. You will also be responsible for dismantling forms after the concrete has set and maintaining tools and equipment in good working condition.
This position offers the opportunity to work on a variety of construction projects, from residential buildings to large-scale commercial and infrastructure developments. We value team players who take pride in their craftsmanship and are committed to delivering high-quality work on time and within budget.
