We are looking for a highly skilled and detail-oriented Fabrication Engineer to join our engineering team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing, developing, and optimizing manufacturing processes and systems used in the fabrication of components and products. This role requires a strong understanding of materials, mechanical systems, and production techniques, as well as the ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams including design, quality, and production.
As a Fabrication Engineer, you will play a critical role in ensuring that products are manufactured efficiently, cost-effectively, and to the highest quality standards. You will be involved in the entire product lifecycle, from initial concept and prototyping to full-scale production and continuous improvement. Your responsibilities will include evaluating existing manufacturing processes, identifying areas for improvement, implementing new technologies, and ensuring compliance with industry standards and safety regulations.
You will also be expected to create detailed documentation, including process flow diagrams, work instructions, and technical reports. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills are essential, as you will need to troubleshoot issues, perform root cause analysis, and implement corrective actions. Experience with CAD software, CNC programming, and automation systems is highly desirable.
The successful candidate will have a degree in Mechanical Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, or a related field, along with several years of experience in a fabrication or manufacturing environment. Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, are required, as you will be working closely with internal teams and external suppliers.
